Sprinklers, Rainguns etc.

Sprinkler irrigation is a method of applying irrigation water in a similar way to natural rainfall. Water is pumped through a system of of pumps, valves and pipes and is then sprayed into the air through sprinklers so that it breaks up into small water drops which fall to the ground. An irrigation sprinkler is used to irrigate agricultural crops, lawns, landscapes, golf courses, and other areas and can also be used for cooling and for the control of airborne dust.

Irrigation sprinklers are either buried in the ground along with their supporting plumbing, above ground or as moving sprinklers. Most irrigation sprinklers operate through electric and hydraulic technology and are grouped together in zones that can be collectively turned on and off by actuating a solenoid-controlled valve. Higher pressure sprinklers that themselves move in a circle are driven by a ball drive, gear drive, or impact mechanism (impact sprinklers) and can be designed to rotate in a full or partial circle.

The Rain Gun is a large area Sprinkler generally replacing 8 to 15 sprinklers depending on the model chosen, reducing labour requirement in shifting the sprinklers in the area. Rain Guns also gives the option to use as Auto Full or Part circle rotation with droplet size management mechanism for optimum working under windy conditions.
